Welcome to the
City of Hull
Established years ago in 1905, the City of Hull is a small town situated in the southwestern corner of Madison County, Georgia, just outside Athens-Clarke County. Known as The Well City, Hull is both part of the watershed of the South Fork of the Board River and of the Savannah River basin. Georgia State Route 72 passes through the center of town, leading southwest to Athens and northeast to Colbert, and in the center of town is the historic water well at the intersection of Highway 72 and Glenn Carrie Road.
Change of Residential Trash Collection
Pursuant to authority granted in the City Charter of the City of Hull, effective January 1, 2024, the City of Hull has entered into an exclusive franchise agreement with AAA Sanitation for the collection of all residential trash in the City of Hull. Please call AAA Sanitation at (706) 543-7788 to set up trash collection services. No other sanitation provider is authorized to collect residential trash within the city limits. This exclusive franchise agreement does not affect commercial trash collection.

City Council Meetings
City council meetings for the City of Hull are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. The meetings are currently being held at the Hull Fire Department located at 20 Daniels Street, but will soon move back into City Hall located at 1326 Old Elberton Road.
